Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with 100% accuracy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bank clients through personalized service
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services
- Balance cash drawers and daily transactions while adhering to security protocols
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Contribute to branch goals by participating in community outreach initiatives
- Maintain compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or cash handling role
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency with basic office software and banking systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cash transactions
- Must pass background check and credit review
- VA notary public certification is a plus
