Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable for 50+ clients
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and investments
- Implement and optimize internal controls for compliance
- Collaborate with tax team on quarterly filings
- Mentor junior accountants using cloud-based software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel Advanced
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong GAAP and SOX knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Experience with weekly payroll processing systems
