We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Irvine, California. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and assist management with variance analysis and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with external audits.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
