- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients
- Oversee audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting systems
- Provide strategic tax planning and compliance guidance
- Mentor junior accountants and lead cross-departmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Deep understanding of GAAP and NYC tax regulations
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
