Responsibilities
- Execute weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports for senior leadership review
- Manage weekend payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with quarterly audits and weekend financial statement preparation
- Support weekend month-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for weekend transactions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Strong attention to detail and error-spotting abilities
- Knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
