Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with 99.8% accuracy
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Lead budget forecasting processes and provide strategic financial insights
- Supervise junior accounting staff and mentor professional development
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Experience managing accounting teams and process optimization
- Active Arizona CPA license required
- Proficiency in bilingual English/Spanish a plus
