Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now including garnishments, bonuses, and commissions
- Conduct thorough audits and reconciliations for payroll tax filings and GL accounts
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies with HR and department heads
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, DOL, and IRS regulations while updating policies quarterly
- Lead payroll-related system implementations and process improvement initiatives
- Act as primary liaison for employee payroll inquiries and audit requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience with ADP
- Expertise in payroll tax compliance and audit procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex calculations
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
