Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and expense reporting.
- Oversee accounts receivable collections and credit risk assessment.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
