Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with detailed variance commentary
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audits by coordinating with external auditors and preparing required documentation
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Streamline accounting workflows using NetSuite and other financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in NetSuite, Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP), and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
