Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and inventory valuation
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and audit requirements
- Lead financial system implementations and process optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate entities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Nevada tax codes
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
