Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable functions with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and variance reporting for executive stakeholders
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multi-state operations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and tax season preparations
- Maintain and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
