Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Develop and implement financial reporting systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline compliance
- Provide strategic financial insights to support client growth initiatives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client and stakeholder interactions
- Proven experience in process optimization and team leadership
