Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 3+ team members
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing cross-functional projects
- Knowledge of Oregon state tax regulations
- Proven ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
