Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze budget versus actual reports to provide insights to management.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations in collaboration with external partners.
- Streamline accounts payable and receivable processes to improve cash flow efficiency.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices in accounting software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
