Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax filings where applicable.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary schedules and data.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
