Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation of accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and supporting schedules.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance financial controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and forecasting.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
