Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) compliant with GAAP
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Oversee tax compliance filings and support external audit processes
- Implement and improve internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with FP&A team on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with financial audits and tax compliance processes
