Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for departmental initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Manage tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of leading month-end closes and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
