Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting models for business planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget preparation and cost analysis
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Streamline financial reporting workflows using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle financial modules
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing accounting teams or interns
