Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic planning
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
