Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful financial commentary to leadership
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience in internal controls and audit preparation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
