The Opportunity: We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage complex financial operations, ensuring compliance and strategic growth for our diverse client portfolio. This hybrid role offers competitive compensation and clear career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ mid-sized clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP/IRS compliance
- Collaborate with tax specialists on quarterly filings
- Implement process improvements using accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with multi-entity financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with client-facing experience
