Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for key business units
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax preparations
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license or in-progress
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of Ohio tax regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations
