Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Lead special projects like system implementations or process automation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration across departments
- Experience in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Proven track record of process improvement and automation initiatives
