Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and analysis
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Coordinate external audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow management
- Prepare tax filings and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage financial audits
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
