Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and cost optimization
- Lead implementation of accounting software upgrades and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of process optimization and system implementations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
- Active Florida CPA license required
