Responsibilities
- Manage complex general ledger operations and ensure financial statement accuracy
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial compliance
- Prepare detailed financial analyses and variance reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Drive process improvements in accounting workflows using ERP systems
- Lead external audit coordination and documentation preparation
- Mentor junior accounting staff to enhance team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience managing month-end/quarter-end closing cycles
