Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage complex accounts payable/receivable processes with 100% accuracy
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures including reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls ensuring SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Oversee tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing costs
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders
