Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to financial controls.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
