Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with GAAP compliance focus
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and NetSuite
- Coordinate external audits and tax documentation
- Mentor junior accountants through cross-training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Proven track record of process optimization
