Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for diverse portfolio of Ohio-based clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and budget forecasting
- Ensure IRS and Ohio state tax compliance
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Ohio tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in process optimization
- Excellent communication and client management skills
