Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and receivable tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
- Maintain and update our digital filing system with strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Process payroll adjustments and expense reports for staff members.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting clerk or junior accountant role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
