Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and executive dashboards
- Lead internal audits and compliance initiatives for SOX adherence
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable financial recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit coordination
