Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support executive leadership.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Manage intercompany reporting and ensure accurate intercompany eliminations.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documentation and regulatory reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
