Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analysis reports for executive leadership.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and support ongoing forecasting activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and local tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
