- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements under GAAP standards
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with reconciliation expertise
- Develop strategic tax planning and compliance solutions
- Mentor junior accountants while ensuring audit readiness
- Implement process improvements using accounting automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record in multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
