Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax filings
- Lead process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support cross-departmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounting teams and process optimization
