Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead audit preparations and respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle financial systems
- Expertise in US GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
