Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state workforce
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Oversee tax filings, wage garnishments, and benefits deductions
- Lead payroll audits and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with HR and finance on payroll system upgrades
- Train and mentor junior payroll team members
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Expertise in garnishment processing and tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven leadership experience in payroll teams
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
