Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial lending decisions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and compliance requirements (FDIC, OCC)
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and loan origination systems
- Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or relevant designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
