Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance across all jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and compliance reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll-related inquiries
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS systems
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Virginia state labor laws
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation highly valued
