Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for internal stakeholders and regulatory reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
