Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis initiatives
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial audits and compliance
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers
- Develop financial models and ad-hoc reporting for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in remote or hybrid settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
