Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead compliance initiatives for tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare executive-level financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and private sector exposure
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and SOX regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Proven track record in complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
