Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliations across 15+ accounts
- Manage tax filings and audit documentation for 50+ corporate clients
- Develop financial forecasting models supporting $50M+ portfolios
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Mentor junior staff on regulatory updates (FASB/IRS)
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with CPA license required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record in multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced analytical skills with financial modeling experience
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Certifications: CPA preferred, CMA a plus
