Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Manage complex balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Lead internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Mentor junior accountants and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
