Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets and forecasts for upcoming fiscal years.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a corporate accounting or senior bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
