Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
