Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 portfolio clients including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare complex tax returns and compliance documentation adhering to GAAP and IRS regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for business growth
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for scalability and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidacy strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
