Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to management to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual audits and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
